Today I am grateful for rain. It feels strange for me--who grew up in a rain forest--to think about and worry about rain. But Georgia is experiencing a record drought. Our stakes have twice fasted for rain. This morning I woke up to a thunder storm and the sound of lots of rain. The state is still 40 inches behind the normal rainfall, and the rain has already stopped. But I am grateful for the moisture we got.
