On fall

Growing up, I didn't really like fall. Fall in Juneau tends to be wet and cold and short. Not a very good combination for growing goodwill toward the season.

Georgia is different. Fall in Georgia is cool, colorful, and lasts more than two weeks. We've been lucky that both of our homes have beautiful fall colors right outside our windows. I've decided I like decorating for fall. And I certainly love wearing fall colors and eating fall goodies (like the recent apple pie). So there are good things to living in Georgia. And it is good to know that I can continue to grow and change and learn to like new things.
